I’m very excited to announce the realization of an idea I’ve had for some time. There’s lots of poetry happening everywhere all the time but how do you find out about them? I think many poets are used to attending the few reading they know about in their area and that’s about it. And many readings and events are reaching who they can reach with their email lists and social media pages.

The goal of the Hum & Hive Northeast Poetry Events app is to bring more poetry to more people and more people to more events in the real world as possible. With a list, calendar, and fun interactive map feature you can see events across the seven states of the Northeast US all in one place. If you are a host of a reading and you don’t see your event in the app you can add it for free with the add event feature.

In settings you can switch from light to dark mode and communicate with me directly about any issues you find. If you find a glitch don’t despair. Message me in settings or email at beemonkpress@pm.me and let me know what it is and we can improve this app together.

The site is free to use on a computer, a tablet or a phone but if you would like the convenience of the app it is available on the Apple store and Google play for only 3.99.
