John Grady’s was a poet, a philosopher and a reluctant hippie who was instant friends with everyone he met. John didn’t chase recognition and fortune and both the publications here were put together after his passing. Those of us who knew him couldn’t imagine the world without his printed words being made available. If you ever saw John read his poems at the mic you didn’t forget it and his two books are equally compelling.
